Salzkammergut Advent Break including visit to the Salzburg Christmas Market

In the four weeks  running up to Christmas, the Salzkammergut  is a wonderland of Advent events. Markets selling Christmas gifts, decorations, food and drink, traditional plays and music. In early December there are the ancient rituals of Krampuslauf and the arrival of St Nicholas with gifts for the children.

From Christmas Eve to New Year's Eve there are Christmas markets in each village around Lake Wolfgang.

Join us to experience this special time of year. Who knows there may even be the first snows of the winter.
.Included in the price are:

•  3,4 or 5 nights self catering accommodation in a one bedroom apartment
• Full day visit to the Salzburg Christkindl market. We will take you right into the centre of the old town where you can browse around the market. ( On breaks up to 24th December)
• For guests including a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night stay in their break we will take you to visit the Wolfgansee Advent celebrations. The lakeside villages of St Wolfgang, St Gilgen and Strobl each have advent markets. Travel between each village by lake ferry ( fare not included). It's really best to visit after dark when the market is lit with hundreds of lights!.
• For guests staying between 24th and 31st December the break includes a visit to the Wolfgangsee Christmas Markets and a horse drawn sleigh ride through the beautiful Gosau valley.
