Highlights of the Salzkammergut
This break we describe as the "Coach tour without a coach".
In 2007 it was particularly popular with our "Over 50's"
guests. Travel outside the peak holiday periods and enjoy this part of
Austria at it's best. Spring, early Summer and Autumn are particularly
beautiful.
If you
want to visit some of the most beautiful places in Salzkammergut at a pace to
suit you, this break is for you.
We've included four tours in the price, leaving you plenty of time to relax
and explore Bad Ischl. Trips are by private transfer, you set off and return
when you want , so it's like having your own private chauffeur!
Included in the price are:
- 7 nights self catering accommodation in a one bedroom apartment
- Day visit to Lake Wolfgang and the lakeside village of St Wolfgang
- Day visit to Salzburg
- Day visit to Hallstatt -a UNESCO World Heritage site
- An afternoon in the mountains with coffee and cakes at a traditional
mountain restaurant, whilst you enjoy the view.
